Anne has been authoring guides for Adafruit since September, 2013. She joined Adafruit full time in April, 2018.
Anne is an electrical engineer and has previous experience at NASA/JPL, Boeing, and a 30 year career as a Security Engineering Officer with the US Department of State, retiring as a Senior Foreign Service Officer.
Anne's always had a special interest in digital circuitry, with experimentation in high school with parts from Radio Shack. Today she has a personal interest in vintage computing, especially early IBM and Compaq PCs. This includes interfacing with original equipment and emulation. Anne lives in Florida near Cape Canaveral, which is great as she's a space enthusiast. She's married to Amy Lendian, a Systems Engineering Manager at Kennedy Space Center. They have numerous children, grandchildren and two great grandchildren. And they also have a dog named Bowie.
