The nodes in Blender are fantastic (frankly they work much better than mine do right now) but I wanted\u0026nbsp; to create algorithmically defined geometry right in Fusion 360 using solids and surfaces which are better suited to making 3D models for technical and engineering parts. I wanted to be able to make algorithemic structures that are user defined but and can be finely controlled and tuned to the design needs.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n \n\n","metadata":{}},{"element_type":"user_image","content":"https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/user_assets/assets/000/001/665/original/Rand_boxes_sample_gui.png?1741477279","metadata":{"caption":"Node editor to create a grid of 100 boxes each with a randomized height"}},{"element_type":"user_image","content":"https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/user_assets/assets/000/001/666/original/Rand_boxes_sample_3d.png?1741567850","metadata":{"caption":"Resulting 3D model of 100 random height boxes"}},{"element_type":"user_image","content":"https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/user_assets/assets/000/001/667/original/cylinder_ellipse_sample_gui.png?1741567996","metadata":{"caption":"Nodes to create a set of cylinders of varying heights in an ellipse pattern"}},{"element_type":"user_image","content":"https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/user_assets/assets/000/001/668/original/cylinder_ellipse_sample_3d.png?1741568339","metadata":{"caption":"Resulting 3D model of cylinders arranged in an ellipse pattern"}},{"element_type":"text","content":"\n \n \u003cp\u003eModels like this would be very time consuming to model by hand.
