For general information about the project, [read the project overview.](https://extralongdivision.com/projects/dbz-radar/dbz-radar-overview/?utm_source=adafruit-playground\u0026amp;utm_medium=organic_social\u0026amp;utm_campaign=syndication\u0026amp;utm_id=1\u0026amp;utm_content=dbz-radar-tutorial) If you want deep technical details, read [the latest developer log.](https://extralongdivision.com/projects/dbz-radar/dbz-radar-devlog-2/?utm_source=adafruit-playground\u0026amp;utm_medium=organic_social\u0026amp;utm_campaign=syndication\u0026amp;utm_id=1\u0026amp;utm_content=dbz-radar-tutorial)\n\nBefore you begin, you’ll need to acquire some tools and parts. The files to manufacture the 3D[1](#fn:1) printed components and PCBA[2](#fn:2) are available on the\n[project's repository.](https://codeberg.org/extralongdivision/dbz-radar/)\n\nIf you don’t have the means to produce the PCBA and 3D printed parts yourself, you can use a contract manufacturer that services your region. Exact providers will vary based on where you live.\n\n### Parts\n\n1. Enclosure front (3D printed)\n2. Enclosure Back (3D printed)\n3. Button shaft (3D printed)\n4. Button top (3D printed)\n5. M2x0.4mm threaded insert (x7)\n6. M2x8mm set screw\n7. M2x4 fastener (x6)\n8. HD40015C40 4\" round display\n9. Dragon Radar V1.1 PCBA\n10. M1x0.25mm threaded insert (x6)\n11. M1x4mm screw (x6)\n12. Double-sided tape\n13. Lithium polymer battery\n14. Mini oval speaker\n\n### Tools\n\nAt minimum you’ll need:\n\n1. A screwdriver for the fasteners\n2. A heat stake or soldering iron\n3. Scissors\n\nNot required, but useful tools:\n\n* Tweezers\n* Needle nose pliers\n\nFlashing Firmware\n----------------------------------------\n\n[Using the binary file in the project's repository](https://codeberg.org/extralongdivision/dbz-radar/src/branch/main/bin/),\n[follow the instructions provided by Adafruit to install CircuitPython on the board.](https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpython-with-esp32-quick-start/installing-circuitpython/) Once complete, drag-and-drop the source code available on the\n[project's repository.](https://codeberg.org/extralongdivision/dbz-radar/) After firmware upload, a heartbeat LED[3](#fn:3) will blink once the board recieves power.\n\nAssembly Procedure\n------------------------------------------\n\nBelow are step-by-step instructions to build the project.
