Here's a quick tutorial on how to import legacy eagle files (.brd and .sch) into Autodesk Fusion.
Start with creating a new design document by clicking on the file icon and selecting "New..."
In the new design window, select the Electronics Design icon and click "Create New".
Click on the "Reference a Schematic document" icon under the common tab.
In the reference dialog window, click on "Select from my computer..." button. Then, navigate to the .sch eagle file and click "Select"
Select the "Untitled" electronics design tab. Under the "common" tab, click on the
"Reference a PCB document" icon.
In the reference dialog window, click on "Select from my computer..." button. Then, navigate to the .brd eagle file and click "Select"
Now you can view, edit and make changes to the either the 2D PCB or the schematic. Use the SWITCH icon, under the design tab, to toggle between the two tabs.
You'll want to save the "untitled" electronics design to a desired location on your projects hub. Note, whatever you name the file will also be reflected in the 2D PCB and schematic.
The Electronics Design File itself just contains the 2D PCB and the schematic. It allows you to view the 2D PCB silkscreen and schematic at a glance.
